Glasgow South Group aims to promote road safety. We do this by offering better driving courses, and observed runs/rides . This training is provided to help associates pass the IAM car or bike test. In observed runs a group observer accompanies an associate in their car and provides guidance to help improve their driving. Further details of bike observed runs is provided on the bike section pages

Group meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. Unless otherwise stated meetings will take place at 7.30pm in the Thorntree Hall,  Main St, Thornliebank, Glasgow. Membership of the group costs £10 for full IAM members. Membership costs £139 for associate members(people training for the test) which includes the test fee, first year?s associate membership to IAM , Advanced Driving manual and all the preparation required for the test.

An interesting and varied programme has been arranged. Members and prospective members may be assured of a friendly welcome.
